It's interesting writing a book on a product that is new and wildly popular, though Apple changes hardware and software frequently, so that is a challenge. This book was written based on the operating system iOS 4.1. Apple updated the iOS last fall to iOS 4.2. So that owners of this book can have the latest information, I have posted updates on my website, iPadMadeClear.com. Readers should be able to use this book and the few updates covered there to learn iPad no matter which iOS they are using. The next edition of this book, which will come out in Spring 2011, will be current to the latest models of iPad and it's latest iOS.
